[Movies] Release Date Moved Up For The Spirit

Frank Miller's comic adaptation will hit theaters earlier than thought...

Frank Miller's anticipated adaptation of the comic series The Spirit is set for release on December 25th. The film was originally scheduled for a January 16th, 2009 release. The decision to move the film up to the competitive Christmas date was due to the film's trailer getting such positive reaction and generating so much buzz.

Everyone in my theater thought it was a preview for the new Sin City movie. No one knows wht the heck the Spirit is!

I haven't seen the trailer, but the poster looks like Sin City. Guess I need to look upt the trailer.
